This video was created for MacArthur Foundation’s Digital Media and Learning Initiative to explain their innovative Digital Badges platform. Digital Badges were developed to document and capture out of school learning.

Connected Camps mission is to build a global online community where kids build, code, play, and learn from one another. As a not-for-profit organization, they provide connected learning experiences – our “camps” – that foster creativity, problem solving, collaboration and interest-driven learning. We created this “About Us” video for Connected Camps during the pandemic. With the challenge of not being able to film in person, we created a video that used Zoom interviews and rendered Minecraft cinematics to create the feel of a YouTube/Twitch style gameplay video.

Mikva Challenge is non-profit organization that develops youth to be empowered, informed, and active citizens who will promote a just and equitable society. Zero One travelled with a group of high school students from the Chicagoland area to Des Moines, IA during the lead-up to the 2020 Iowa Caucuses. This video documents the experience of young people getting first hand experience of the political process.

Connected Learning reimagines learning for the digital age to connected interests, social relationships, and real-world opportunity. In this video we wanted to take an abstract idea and bring it to life with showing Connected Learning in action and the young people it impacts.
